SONAL RATAN
Sonal qualified as a Registered Dietitian from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2013. Her Dietetics career began at a district hospital in a rural area where she completed her community service year. Her surroundings humbled her and inspired her to educate the less fortunate on how to start a sustainable food supply and achieve a balanced diet despite being faced with limited resources.
She has always been passionate about exposing the truth about âfad dietsâ and sharing information surrounding nutrition that has been substantiated with scientific research. This led her to join a private practice setting where she treated out-patients with non-communicable diseases and allergies, where she also gained valuable clinical experience working in the paediatric, medical, neonatal ICU and surgical ICU wards of numerous private hospitals.
Sonal officially joined the FUTURELIFEÂŽÂ team as the KZN Regional Dietitian in November 2016, however, her journey with FUTURELIFEÂŽÂ began in the first year of her career when she had first-hand experience of how their products improved the lives of malnourished and disadvantaged people in a rural hospital setting. During her work in private practice she was a proud ambassador of FUTURELIFEÂŽÂ products as she witnessed how FUTURELIFEÂŽÂ products assisted people from all walks of life to achieve a healthy balanced diet.Â
She is passionate about the FUTURELIFEÂŽÂ brand and continues her journey with the brand as the FUTURELIFEÂŽÂ Gauteng Regional Dietitian and second in charge of the FUTURELIFEÂŽÂ Dietitian Team. She also continues her research in the fields of womenâs health, weight loss and joint health to scientifically bust commonly associated myths and educate individuals on sustainable ways to take charge of their health and live happier and healthier lives.
